Inspiring Children to be their own heroes.
Children need heroes. Healthy ones too. When we were approached to help name and brand a new product in the children’s vitamin space we literally jumped at the challenge. Following the naming process, positioning the product was vital. We promoted that children themselves be the heroes, with the aid of some brave budding bears! Through a handcrafted identity and positive tone of voice, the Hero Bears brand was able to stretch across all limitations, ultimately appealing to a wide range of children and parents alike.
Handcrafted characters to give an identity like no other.
We wanted to develop a brand for Hero Bears that could grow beyond its first three launching products. Characters that brought connection to the brand, recognisable wherever a child might see them. We felt three characters were a must. A different personality that could appeal to children and easily be in the running to become their favourite. For each flavour a different character would take primary position in the centre of the tub.
It is this uniqueness of design that has seen children ask parents daily for their Hero Bears as opposed to their “vitamins.”
Stretching beyond the first product.
We recognised early on that Hero Bears had the potential to reach all touch points. With scope for merchandise, a child-focused digital experience and talks of comic books, Hero Bears had far outgrown itself as just a child’s vitamin supplement. We created a brand and tone of voice that was far more about the child than the product itself.
